Our Viking axe, also called Danyxa, is hand-carved from durable wood and is polished with wax. The ax head's color comes from careful firing and is not painted. The handle is wrapped with faux leather and natural fiber. In the design of the axe, we have been inspired both by the real Danyxes the Vikings used, but also by finds of wooden toys from the Viking Age.
The danyx is perhaps the most famous of the Vikings' weapons. And it was also the ax that gave the Vikings their superiority on all battlefields. A must have for any small Viking warrior of caliber.
